support from one of pop-punks proven stars, Mark Hoppus, and coverage from both
P-Rock and Kerrang!TV, it seems only a matter of time until Simple Time make it
big time.However, on the strength
of this LP, I feel that they need to show a bit more hard work.This album certainly shows promise and tracks such as ‘Id Do
Anything’ and ‘I’m Just A Kid’ which combine bouncy enthusiasm with
simple yet strong song writing.They
just seem to be missing a certain something that would push the whole album up
another level.The band are clearly
heavily influenced by their peers, combining NFG style lyrics with Drive Thru
style melodic punk, with some more emo influences to create a sound that won’t
astound, but will entertain. (7)
