Homegrown – Kings Of Pop
Another pop-punk record, I hear you shout?
Ah yes but this one’s different! They say. Oh yeah? You say. Well, no not
really, they say. And its not. But it’s good. Tracks such as ‘You’re Not
Alone’, Kiss Me, Diss Me’ and Michele’s fave ‘Love You Not’ are catchy
nuggets of pop-punk sublimity, and although the rest of the Cd gets a bit bland
and samey, these songs alone make it a worthwhile purchase, particularly whilst
most Drive-Thru CD’s are only like 8 quid. Good, but in small doses. (6)
