1) How’s the tour been going?
The shows we did went really well, thanks
for asking. We had to cancel a few due to illness which is a pain in the arse
but it can’t be helped.
2) How long are you guys out on the road?
Well that tour was only about 10days or so,
at the moment we are all back in work trying to get some cash and sort out our
next mission. It’s really hard to keep things going properly when we got to
come back to earn money to live. In a ideal world we'd do it full time if we
could.
3) You guys seem to have a great chemistry
on stage. Do you think it’s because of a strict touring schedule, or just
because you are close friends?
Well, we've been playing together for a
fair few years now so I’d like to think we play well together, but obviously
some nights it goes a bit pear shaped! It does help the more we stay on tour as
you can get in the zone, as I like to call it.
4) How does it feel to be part of a
UK
punk scene that seems on the brink of explosion with great bands?
Well it’s great to be in a band full stop,
and it’s a bonus that there are so many amazing bands that we have had the
chance to play with. I do hope that certain bands get the coverage they
deserve. It’s really frustrating to see amazing bands get ignored when shit
bands with cash behind them get all the good shit. And there are plenty of shit
bands doing supposedly well.
5) Any good bands our readers should check
out?
Pylon, Milloy, The Take, Fogdonkey, Hi-Tec
Jet, The Leif Ericsson, Stapleton, Twofold, Beford Falls, Iconite Thrill,
Vanilla Pod, Copperpot Journals, otherwise...I could seriously go on for pages.
6) Do you feel privileged to have played
with so many great bands in your careers?
We’ve been very lucky to play with the
bands we have. When you start off, it’s always seems like you'd never get to
play with bands you listen to at home. We’ve blagged favours and everything to
get on certain shows and been very honoured to be asked to play others. That’s
the good thing about certain scenes, there ain’t no buying onto tours and shit
like that, you just got to talk to people and hassle 'em!
7) What do you think of the Cavern in
Exeter as a venue, and Exeter as a whole?
The cavern is definitely one our favourite
places to play in the country. Pippa and Dave have always been super nice to
us, always hooking up some good pizza and chips! And the people we've met at
the shows will always be up for it. I really don’t think there’s too many
venues round the country with the set up it has, and it’s to its credit. As a
whole Exeter seems like a decent place, but each time we've stayed over it’s
always ended up a bit messy.
8) Do you prefer all ages shows or over 18
shows, and why?
Definitely reckon there should be more all
ages venues round the country. It’s just a shame if you’re in a band and you
know there is people who can’t get in to see you just because of licensing laws.
The annoying thing that I’ve noticed though, down here in Cardiff anyway, is
that if there is an all ages shows the older crowd don’t turn up cause there
ain’t no beer. That’s a bit mentalist. Is that a word?
9) Any views on the war?
I’ve got views on the war, and I’m sure
they echo those which have been said by a million other people. I certainly
don’t trust the reasoning and don’t agree with the action taken to justify it.
10) Harry Potter or Lord of The Rings?
Lord Of The Rings
11) Favourite Pokemon?
Don’t know any, sorry.
12) Backstreet Boys or N*Sync?
Neither, they're both shite.
